I’ve been through the divorce process and it’s difficult. Starting over can feel overwhelming.
Understanding the tax implications of certain decisions made during the process is important. Some niche services I offer include assistance in compiling lists of assets and liabilities, organizing information, and helping to understand how certain assets transferred between spouses involved in a divorce may be treated from a tax standpoint. I feel this is an area not often addressed during the divorce process and can result in inequities and misconceptions of true value when certain assets are transferred between spouses.
